Matthew 13:31-32
The parable of the mustard seed, shared by Jesus in Matthew 13:31-32, conveys the notion of exponential growth in the Kingdom of God:
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree.”
This metaphor highlights the transformative power of even the smallest beginnings and the potential for significant growth in the spiritual life.
